This will be an immersive green tea workshop that invites both newcomers and seasoned sippers alike. Over the course of 2 hours, we’ll explore the rich world of Chinese green tea—its history, cultural context, unique processing methods and the sensory language it speaks through taste and aroma.

At the heart of this gathering is a tasting of rare and highly prized first flush Ming Qian green teas—those picked before the spring rains, when the leaves are at their most delicate and flavorful. You’ll brew these exceptional teas in small groups of four, learning hands-on how to prepare and evaluate iconic varieties like Dragonwell, Enshi Yulu, and Bi Luo Chun.

You’ll leave with a better understanding of what makes these teas special, how to brew them well, and how to recognize quality in the cup. This workshop is designed to be accessible and hands-on, offering a space to learn by doing, asking questions, and connecting with others through the shared practice of tea.

Ecstatic Dance is a journey of sound + movement for healing, celebration and communion. We begin with a circle to set the guidelines of the container and initiate a 90-minute journey through sound and movement. Some guidelines include no-talking, staying for the duration, releasing judgement of self and others, and being in your own journey. There is no guidance aside from your inner world. Follow You.

This is a substance-free event; let the music + the dance be thy medicine~

Arrive at least 30-minutes before circle if you would like tea, cacao, or other beverages. An altar will be formed in the space, so please feel free to bring an item you would like to be charged in the energy of the dance!
