floor open at 7:00 | circle begins at 7:30
Ecstatic Dance is a journey of sound + movement for healing, celebration and communion. We begin with a circle to set the guidelines of the container and initiate a 90-minute journey through sound and movement. Some guidelines include no-talking, staying for the duration, releasing judgement of self and others, and being in your own journey. There is no guidance aside from your inner world. Follow You.
This is a substance-free event; let the music + the dance be thy medicine~
Arrive at least 30-minutes before circle if you would like tea, cacao, or other beverages. An altar will be formed in the space, so please feel free to bring an item you would like to be charged in the energy of the dance!
See you at the HOUSE

π 2022 Butter Pat sheng pu'er
A blend of three different spring harvests from the Nannuo, Bada, and Leida mountains, this tea has a fresh, buttery character with almost no bitterness. Though young, this is an easy drinker with lots of potential for the future.
π 2019 Wild Fields Tian Jian hei cha
Tian Jian translates as "Heavenly Points" and is a fermented tea from Anhua. It holds the highest plucking standard in this family of tea, has been lightly smoked and aged loose. The flavors and aromas range from lightly smokey and nutty to wet lumber and moist grass.
π 2017 Wild Fu Zhuan hei cha
This wild "fungus brick" is a tea made from the lowest plucking standard, up to 18% twig material. This keeps the bricks relatively loose promoting the growth of jΔ«n hΕ«a mold, or "golden flowers," which is becoming known more and more for its health benefits related to cholesterol, blood sugar and metabolism. The liquor is light and sweet with a calming character
π 2010 Dragon Brother shu pu'er
This tea is an excellent example of what small batch fermentation can be. The material used is a blend of different patches from Nannuo mountain which has been loose aged until 2017 when it was pressed into bings. The liquor, while not as dark as you'd expect a shu to be at this age, is deep, sweet and cheerfully earthy.
